Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team - 1 year experience as a BCBA and center-based experience preferred. In this vital role, you will design, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral intervention plans for children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Clinical Duties
- Fulfill at least 28 billable hours per week (includes supervision, report writing and direct sessions) with an average caseload of 8-10 clients
- Conduct assessments on an ongoing basis; Initial Assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), Skills Assessments, and Preference Assessments
- Develop behavior intervention plans based on the results of FBAs
- Implement and monitor data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress on treatment plan objectives and update treatment plans
- Provide occasional direct-care coverage for lunches or emergencies to ensure continuity of care
- Provide caregiver education and training to implement treatment plan strategies and report on caregiver goal progress to the funding source
Staff Support
- Supervise and provide ongoing training and skill acquisition intervention for Behavior Interventionists implementing ABA treatment plans
- Supervise individuals working to obtain or maintain their RBT credential, providing ongoing training and completing RBT Competency Assessments as needed
- Supervise candidates working toward their BCBA credential
- Support/train new hires, new pairings, and subs when needed
- Complete BI Feedback forms/evaluations for BIs every 6 months
- Attend and contribute to scheduled Clinical Meetings & All Staff Meetings
Compliance
- Maintain BCBA credential each two year cycle, meeting all requirements as specified by the BACB
- Provide a minimum of 5% supervision of RBT each month and complete ongoing documentation in preparation for BACB audits
- Implement and support center/client schedules (e.g., meal times, SSG, water play)
- Ensure that your clients are in a safe and positive environment at all times
- Contribute to a positive work environment by being a proactive and ethical role model
Requirements:
- Must be certified by the BACB as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
- Must possess a master’s degree or post-graduate certification in applied behavior analysis
- Must maintain CPR or BLS certification.
- Provide a negative TB test
- Background check
- Must have excellent communication and organization skills.
- 1 year minimum as a BCBA preferred
- Center-based experience preferred
Clinical Supervisor Work Hours and Location:
- Travel is not required. Services are provided at the center.
- Center hours are 8am-4pm Monday through Friday (must be available 7:45am-4:15pm)
Compensation
- Base Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 per year (starting pay based on experience)
- Performance-Based Pay: This base salary is separate from our weekly and monthly bonus structures
Financial & Performance Bonuses
- Monthly Bonus: $250 each month the 28-hour billable target is met. (Up to $3,000 per year)
- Weekly Bonus: Earn $25 for every billable hour over the 28-hour target -Starts at hour 29 (e.g., an extra 4 hours earns $100/week and about $5,000 per year!)
